Sunday night summed up the Premier League’s historical volatility and unpredictability as a struggling Liverpool side put seven goals past a Manchester United team fresh off a Caribou Cup win and enjoying an impressive unbeaten streak across tournaments.
Liverpool looked far from the side that has suffered some terrible defeats this season, while United looked nothing like a team third on the table. Such is the nature of the Premier League!

In Ligue 1, Kylian Mbappe continues to climb PSG’s goal scoring ladder, taking it to heights unreached in the club’s history. Scoring his 201st goal in PSG’s 4-2 win over Nantes, Mbappe became the top goal scorer in the club’s history. Of course, Lionel Messi was on the scoreboard once again too, as the old and new guard of Messi and Mbappe continue to fire for Paris Saint-Germain.
