The MoneyMan and Oliver Keohane give their predictions for the semi-finals of the 2022 Fifa World Cup.
It’s not the semi-finals many would have expected. To be honest, the quarters weren’t what people expected, neither were the results of the group stages which led to a very interesting round of 16.
Nevertheless, it has reached that time in the tournament where there are only four teams left.
Argentina take on Croatia – who for a second consecutive World Cup have progressed to the semi-finals through penalties – and they will be hoping to score in normal time and eliminate the risk of going the distance with a side that seems comfortable to take it to penalties every time.
France, who have appeared the most threatening side at the tournament take on Morocco in an historic match where an African country has reached the semi-finals for the first time ever. Morocco have taken out Spain and followed it up by knocking over Portugal. Do they have a third upset in them to rock the footballing world?
